Neue Funktionen
- Unterstützung für die Nord Sample Library. Discovery Pro liest .nsmp, .nsmp3 und .nsmp4 Samples über alle vier Codec-Generationen hinweg, einschließlich des Legacy-Layouts, das von den ältesten Bibliotheken verwendet wird, sowie Nord-Bundles und Instrumenten-Backups (.nw2pbundle, .ns4b und die anderen .n Bundle- und Backup-Archive), die beim Ablegen entpackt werden. Enthält einen Scan des Nord Sound Manager-Ordners.
- Export Wave Slot nach Nord, im Datei-Menü, schreibt den geladenen Wave Slot (WAV, SFZ-Programm, PADsynth-Render oder DWB-Patch) als .nsmp4, .nsmp3 oder .nsmp, mit Tastenumfang, Grundton, Feintuning, Pegel und Loop. Im Demo verfügbar.
- Nord Sound Manager Cache-Bänke. Sein Offline-Cache wird im Wave-Bank-Menü aufgelistet, gruppiert nach den eigenen Bänken des Katalogs, auf macOS und Windows.
- Bankbezeichnungen zeigen den Banktyp an: Bnk, Cor, Bls, SFZ, Wav oder Nrd basierend auf dem Standort.
- Wave Stereo Engine. Stereo-Wellen behalten beide Kanäle, anstatt auf Mono summiert zu werden, sodass Bliss, Nord, WAV und SF2-Sounds ihr Stereo-Bild behalten. Jede Stimme hat ihren eigenen Filter und Verzerrung pro Kanal, während Hüllkurven, Follower, Cutoff und LFOs geteilt bleiben. Neue Bänke sind stereo. Bestehende Bänke und Projekte bleiben im Mono-Mix und klingen genau wie zuvor: Wechseln Sie eine Bank mit der Wave Stereo Engine im Wave-Popup-Menü.
Verbesserungen
- Neue MIDI-Boards für Nord Stage 3 und Nord Stage 4. Die Nord Lead 1, Nord Lead 4 und Nord Wave 2 Boards wurden aus den CC-Diagrammen der Fabrik neu aufgebaut.

I'm thoroughly chuffed with Discovery Pro 8. Its sound quality is top-notch, brimming with richness and clarity. The support for WAV files and nifty resampling features are quite the boon for creative sound design. Impressively, I can easily run up to 128 voices per core on my M1 Mac Studio and the extensive library of presets caters brilliantly to any genre. It's becoming an indispensable asset in my studio.

Discovery was ones a very good vsti plugin. It sounds great and emulates the Nord Lead synths nicely but sadly it cannot cope with the rest of the bunch nowadays.
There are now definitely much better alternatives (read: way way way better) and much cheaper too.
On a side note: Discovery also requires much more CPU power compared to others. Some sounds even bog my i7 at 80%.
I suggest looking at D16 Lush101 synth. It is cheaper and produces incredible sounds (better compared to Discovery).
Conclusion: first look at all the (free and payed) alternatives before paying for this.

About twenty years ago I owned a original Nord Lead 1
It was a great VA-synth that sounded really analog enough to fool many ears.
NL2 and most certainly NL3 aren't very good imo and so is this VST plugin. It just sounds too digital to me.
For me there is only one really good VST plugin doing incredibly analog emulations : B16 Lush101
Its less expensive then Discovery Pro and way better sounding.

I like the Nord Lead patch import. Please consider a lower price.

Next you'll be claiming Office or Photoshop is shareware too!
It's commercial software & should be listed as such.
